Yesterday Toga presented her Fall – Winter 2017 collection. A brand created by Yasuko Furuta en 1997. The designer’s work combines modern elements with traditional Japanese silhouettes. Also, her style is defined by the use of exclusive fabrics which give a certain volume to the garments.
Since I saw the place I knew that the collection would be quite ornate and indeed, the collection name is “Hole, Classic Ornamentation, Skin” where the ornaments matched with Street style looks, the garments had cuts but didn’t deform the original silhouette, which made me see the impeccable pattern that Furuta handles.
I must say that the color palette enchanted me, as it achieves a harmony of warm and cold colors.
One of the most experimental collections. I loved it!
