PFW FAIRYTALE DREAMING

If anyone knows how to understand the needs of the modern woman is Alexia Ulibarri, Mexican designer which in 2008 created a brand with which we can identify completely and use at all times.

Always mixing a duality of romanticism and strength, enhancing with great subtlety and skill our femininity. Something that really is of great importance to her during the creative process is functionality, contemporary and comfortable clothes that give you the possibility to use them every day, looking elegant, attractive and modern.

Always experimenting to learn, understand and continue expressing herself, Alexia Ulibarri presents in major platforms like Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and in various fashion publications such as Vogue and Elle to name a few, besides having dressed celebrities like Ana Claudia Talancón, Emma Roberts and first lady of Mexico, Angelica Rivera, among others.

In each collection she tells us a story that fuses experiences, time, art, technology and materials making of each garment something unique, with special little details, adapting to the style and body of every woman who wears them, creating pieces that will surely make you feel special; like me with this beautiful asymmetrical skirt in black and pink pastel organza with embroidered lace details, which is part of the spring-summer collection 2016. I love all the details and wanted to play with transparencies which is a strong trend, so that’s why I match it with a body in black with just a few details of lines in the same tones that made it stand out even more. The pearls ear cuff  and bracelet closed this sophisticated, sensual and current outfit. Giving a more personal style with these booties that make it a little more risky combining perfectly the texture of these and the organza.

It is important to make the clothes yours, give each piece and trend your style, I love that Alexia drives us to do it and to be unique. Definitely a designer with great proposals, really innovative, which will certainly help to push more Mexican design and break boundaries.
